Teenager dead after shooting near north Columbus convenience store

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — We now know the name of a 16-year-old boy that died after a shooting near the Woodland Express convenience store Monday evening.

He is identified as Tykeme Eskridge.

Columbus police confirmed Eskridge was killed after reports of a shooting near 1785 Woodland Avenue, between Argyle Drive and Jermain Drive, at 6:33 p.m. The victim was found in the parking lot and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said they were looking for a possibly silver four-door sedan seen leaving the scene around the time of the shooting. Police have two persons of interests in the case, seen below.
