Carryout employee exchanges gunfire with robbers

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Nobody was injured overnight when three robbers exchanged gunfire with an employee of a drive-thru carryout.

It happened around 9 p.m. Thursday at Ramah Carryout on West Broad Street.

According to police, some of the suspects were wearing masks, one was wearing an all red sweater outfit, another in all black.

Columbus police dispatchers say the 911 call center was flooded with calls from people who heard multiple gunshots. Around 10 shell casings were found at a nearby store.

No injuries were reported.
