COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — At the Ohio State men’s basketball season opener on Sunday, the Jerome Schottenstein Center gave attendees the opportunity to buy beer and wine throughout the venue.
According to OSU officials, the university began a pilot program at Ohio Stadium this fall by selling beer and wine to those with club and suite level tickets. The expanded sale of beer and wine at the Schottenstein Center is an extension of this pilot program. Beer and wine have been available on the club level at the Schottenstein Center since the building opened in 1998. The expanded sales will occur in the entry and terrace levels of the arena.
This expanded service also will be available for fans of women’s basketball and men’s hockey.
