Police looking for thief who pulled victim into van, punched him

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Police say they are looking to arrest David Sanders, 47, for an alleged robbery where he pulled a man into a minivan, took his money, and hit him in the face.

On Oct. 7, in the area of N. High St & E. Hudson, a good Samaritan opened his wallet to give a man change to catch a bus. As soon as he opened his wallet the suspect, who was a passenger in a minivan that briefly stopped, grabbed the person. Police say Sanders pulled the man into the van, took money from his wallet, punched him in the face, then shoved him out of the van.

This would be Sanders’ 12th time being arrested, police say.
