COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Just days before his visit to Ohio, Republican presidential contender Donald Trump has gone on a Twitter tirade against Ohio Gov. John Kasich.
On his Twitter account, Trump said Kasich’s “is going to spend $2.5 million against me” in negative advertisements. He called the Ohio governor’s campaign a failure and attributed Kasich’s low polling numbers to his debating skills.
Kasich responded with his own series of tweets aimed at Trump.
On Monday, Trump is scheduled to speak at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. It will be his first appearance in Ohio since August, when he participated the first Republican presidential debate in Cleveland.
