Crew SC ready for next challenge

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Just two weeks ago, Columbus Crew SC beat Montreal Impact in front of the second largest crowd at MAPFRE Stadium in Crew SC history.

Tomorrow, the Crew SC hope to take a big step towards capturing another MLS Cup when they begin the first leg of the Eastern Conference Finals against the New York Red Bull at home in front of a sold-out crowd.

Earlier this week, we spoke with goalkeeper Steve Clark about the team’s mind-set heading into the finals.

Clark said, “We know them (Red Bulls) well, and we think we know how to break down their game, and with our fans at our backs, I think we have a pretty good idea of how to beat them.”

Crew SC goes to NY in the second leg of the finals on November 29th, so they will want to clinch this crucial first leg at home tomorrow. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
