Teen in critical condition after shooting along Livingston Avenue

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A teen was hospitalized after a shooting in east Columbus Tuesday afternoon.

It happened just before 1:45 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of East Livingston Avenue and Beechwood Road. Police say two suspects approached the teen, got into an altercation, and then shot him.

According to police, he was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition.

Police have not made any arrests, and witnesses were only able to provide a vague description of the suspects. Both were wearing hoodies; police say one had dreadlocks and the other had a light-to-medium complexion.

Homicide detectives are investigating.
