SAN HOSE, Calif. (NBC News) — A California driver is lucky to be alive.
A man was driving on Interstate 280 in San Jose Friday afternoon when a nearby truck lost part of its load.
That’s when a long metal tray loaded bounced off the pavement and crashed through the car’s front windshield.
Amazingly, the driver suffered just a scratch to his right arm and was able to safely pull over.
A few more inches to the right and this would be a different story.
