Shooting in northeast Columbus bar injures 2

COLUMBUS (WCMH) – Two people were injured early Sunday morning after shots were fired at a northeast Columbus bar.

It happened at Boomerang’s Bar near the intersection of Karl Road and East Dublin-Granville Road just after 1 a.m. Sunday.

Duane Brown, 25, was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital with life-threatening injuries, but is expected to survive.

A second person Sherman Moore, 27, was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Investigators say they are reviewing surveillance video in hopes that it will reveal what led up to the shooting.
