AMANDA TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WCMH)–Troopers say alcohol is suspected to be a factor in a one-vehicle fatal crash in Fairfield County.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 6:43 p.m. on Ohio 188 in Amanda Township. Daniel Marshall, 57, of Amanda was traveling eastbound when he went off the left side of the road, struck a fence, and overturned. He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the vehicle.
Amanda Township EMS transported him to Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The crash is still under investigation.
