Ross County Sheriff identifies body found as 34-year-old Madison County man

ROSS CO., Ohio (WCMH)–Sheriff George Lavender reports that the Ross County Coroner’s Office has identified the body that was discovered yesterday as 34-year-old Nicholas A. Fogg.

The sheriff’s office said Fogg had a last known address of Madison County. The cause and manner of his death have not been determined.

Sheriff Lavender again requests anyone with information to call his office at 740-773-1185.

According to deputies, Fogg’s body was found by a homeowner near Tar Hollow State Forest at about 10:20 a.m. Thursday.

The 911 caller said the body seemed to have a bag over its head. Authorities said the body was clothed and there were no weapons found.
