Buckeyes knock off #4 Kentucky, 74-67

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WCMH/AP) — Ohio State held off a furious second-half rally by No. 4 Kentucky for a 74-67 victory Saturday in Brooklyn.

Three Buckeyes scored double digits, led by forward Keita Bates-Diop with 14 points, in the upset. Forward Jae’Sean Tate added nine rebounds.

Ohio State improves to 6-5 on the season and returns home to face Mercer on Tuesday evening. The Wildcats fall to 9-2.
