Tina Fey and Amy Poehler reprised their classic portrayals of Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin as they co-hosted Saturday Night Live.
In one sketch, Hillary Clinton (Kate McKinnon) is visited by 2008 Hillary Clinton (Amy Poehler) and Sarah Palin (Tina Fey) as she falls asleep.
The younger Clinton falls over in shock upon hearing that the Republican frontrunner is Donald Trump.
Shortly after 2008 Hillary Clinton appears, Sarah Palin appears and reminds Clinton that she got closer to the White House than Clinton ever did.
After the younger Hillary Clinton suggests that she needs to return to 2008 and send some emails, the older Clinton breaks her blackberry in half, saying “You’ll thank me later.”
SNL also took some shots at Republican candidates.
In the show’s cold open Donald Trump (Darrell Hammond), Sen. Ted Cruz (Taran Killam), Dr. Ben Carson (Jay Pharoah), Sen. Marco Rubio (Pete Davidson) and Gov. Jeb Bush (Beck Bennett) take the stage at the Las Vegas debate.
Saturday Night Live airs at 11:35 p.m. Saturdays on NBC4.
