Marion police arrest suspected drug traffickers during ‘Operation Grinch’

MARION, Ohio (WCMH)–The Marion Police Department says 11 people were arrested Wednesday during a year-end roundup dubbed “Operation Grinch.”

Detectives from the METRICH/MARMET Drug Task Force, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, the Marion Police Department and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification (BCI&I) arrested several people on warrants and on drug-related charges.

In addition to warrant arrests, police say two search warrants were served and crack cocaine, heroin and suspected methamphetamine, as well as stolen property, were recovered.

The people arrested and their charges were:

Kenny King, 41, of Marion (trafficking in crack cocaine)

Thaddeus Macon, 24, of Marion (trafficking in heroin)

Stephanie LaFalce, 20, of Marion (trafficking in heroin)

Scott Baker, 30, of Marion (trafficking in heroin)

Robert Stinson, 52, of Marion (trafficking in cocaine)

Joseph Hawthorne, 55, of Marion (trafficking in cocaine)

Ortavious Hood, 20, of Marion (trafficking in crack cocaine)

Orlando Rogers, 40 (trafficking in cocaine)

Matt Conway, 39 (misdemeanor warrant)

Paul Klinefelter, 24 (misdemeanor warrant)
