Suspect returns victim’s good Christmas Eve favor by stabbing him in the head

GLEN BURNIE, Md.(WCMH)—A man said he was just trying to help another person out when gave the suspect money. The suspect then reportedly stabbed him in the head and robbed him.

According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, at about 3:19 p.m. Christmas Eve, a 41-year-old man reported he had been stabbed in the head.

The victim told police that he was walking in the 7500 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie, when a man approached him. The man told the victim he had just been robbed and had no money. The victim said he felt sorry for the suspect and gave him a few dollars he had in his pocket.

Police said as the victim was walking away, the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the forehead and told him to give him his money. The victim asked the suspect why he was doing this and the suspect said he was not going to be poor on Christmas.

The suspect, later identified as 52-year-old Edward Wayne Kramer, then said he was going to stab the victim again and set him on fire if he didn’t give him his money.

Kramer ran from the scene after the incident, but was later arrested by officers.
