COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — With a patchy light coating of snow expected for some areas of central Ohio on Monday, street maintenance crews are working to treat the roadways Sunday night in preparation for the first snowfall of the season.

ODOT officials said 60 snow plows will be on duty shortly after midnight treating ramps and bridges in Delaware, Fayette, Franklin, Madison, Marion, Morrow, Pickaway and Union counties. Crews will use brine on the roadways to ensure a safe and passable morning commute.
