A year after a Ross County woman was found dead, mothers whose daughters are still missing plead for answers

Shasta Himelrick

ROSS CO., Ohio (WCMH)–More than 400 tips have poured in since a Ross County Task Force formed last summer to find answers about two missing women and the deaths of four others.

It has been one year since the body of Shasta Himelrick was found in the Scioto River after she went missing Christmas of 2014. Her death was ruled a suicide, but the task force is still investigating tips taken about her too.

The task force commander, TJ Hollis, says human trafficking is a consistent thread with all the women.
