Man dies after ATV crash in Ross County

FRANKFORT, Ohio (WCMH)–A man died in Ross County after his ATV was hit by an SUV, according to Ross County Sheriff George Lavender.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Main and Walnut Streets in Frankfort shortly after 8 p.m.

The preliminary investigation indicates that a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder driven by 43-year-old Ralinda Stanger of Frankfort was driving south on Main Street when 44-year-old Anthony Stewart, of Frankfort, came from Walnut Street on his ATV and was struck by the Pathfinder.

Stewart was pronounced dead at the scene by the Ross County Coroner’s Office. No other injuries were reported.
