COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH)– Police have released pictures of the suspect’s vehicle in a deadly hit-skip crash on North High Street.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, at about 4:34 a.m., December 12, 27-year-old Robert Hileman was driving northbound on N. High Street near E. Hudson Street, on a 1994 Honda Shadow motorcycle when a vehicle failed to yield to oncoming traffic.
The suspect vehicle turned left from southbound High Street to eastbound Hudson Street and struck Hileman. Hileman was thrown from his motorcycle and later died from his injuries on December 29.
Police said the vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
Witnesses initially told police the vehicle was a white or cream colored sedan, but after reviewing video, police have identified the car as being dark blue or black.
