COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH)–Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is looking for two suspects in a burglary that took place on the Ohio State University’s campus in December.
Crime Stoppers said in a release that two men burglarized the Torres House at 187 W. Lane Ave. on Dec. 4. Around 5:17 p.m., they allegedly got in by telling a student they were exterminators and they needed to spray for bugs. The building requires keycard access.
Instead, the suspects stole the student’s laptop and iPad tablet.
Both suspects are described as black males between 20-30 and well-groomed.
The first suspect has a dark complexion, short afro hair, a mustache, wire-framed glasses, wearing a light colored long-sleeved button up shirt with a “US Bank” logo on the front left chest area, dark pants and brown dress shoes.
The second suspect has lighter complexion, light beard, mustache and goatee, muscular build, wearing a long-sleeved gray pullover shirt, black pants, gray and white tennis shoes, orange safety vest, carrying a black backpack and a white insect sprayer canister.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the person(s) responsible for this crime.
