Ross County gas station robbed at knife-point

MASSIEVILLE, OH (WCMH) – A Ross County gas station was robbed at knife-point Sunday night.

According to the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, it happened around 8 p.m. Sunday at the Sunoco station in Massieville.

A man came into the store and threatened the clerk with a knife before leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to investigators.

Police described the suspect as a white male standing around 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing between 150 and 175 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt, black bandana, black gloves and was carrying a black backpack.

The Sheriff’s office asks that anyone with information call detectives at 740-773-1185 or Southern Ohio Crime Stoppers at 740-773-8477.
