Suspect accused of withdrawing $10k from victim’s account

COLUMBUS (WCMH)– Columbus police say they have identified the suspect who is accused of withdrawing money from another person’s checking account.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, the suspect withdrew more than $10,000 from the 60-year-old victim’s checking account.

Police said the suspect made two withdrawals from the victim’s account, including at a Chase bank on W. Broad Street, January 5.

Police initially made the announcement of the suspect on their Facebook page, asking for help to identify the suspect, but later updated saying she had been identified. Police have not released the name of the suspect.
