Investigators searching for suspects in kidnapping, robbery

COLUMBUS (WCMH)– Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward to anyone who helps make an arrest in a kidnapping and robbery case in Pickerington.

According to investigators, at about 5:45am, November 27, a man was stopped at a traffic light in Pickerington when three to four men accosted him at gunpoint.

Investigators said two of the suspects got into the victim’s car and forced him to drive to a house on Maryland Avenue, in Columbus, where they tied him up, threatened, and robbed him.

The suspects are accused of taking the victim’s PIN number for his bank account and his car.

At about 6:30am the suspects attempted to use the victim’s debit card at several locations, and then went to his home where they stole other items including a shotgun and other firearms, according to investigators.

The victim was somehow able to escape the premises and called police.

The suspects are all described as black males, wearing masks and dressed like clowns.

Surveillance photos of a female suspect, wearing the victim’s “US Army” cap, were captured at the Sunoco gas station located at 849 E. 5th Avenue. The suspects’ car is gray and possibly a Honda.
