PARMA, Ohio (WCMH)–People in Parma are seeing double on Facebook after someone created a fake page for the city police department.

The Parma Police Department warns residents not to believe anything posted on the impostor page, which is also called “City of Parma Police Department.”

The difference is in the URL, the category of the pages–and in the content of the posts.

The fake page published a post saying that residents are forbidden to help homeless people, and has another post advertising free abortions.

Police said the matter is currently being investigated by the Parma Police Department and by Facebook.

Not to be outdone, the fake page posted the exact same thing.
