Toddler runs down road after falling from back of van

(NBC)

SUZHOU CITY, China (WCMH) – A toddler fell out of a moving van in China over the weekend, but was quickly rescued by the driver of the car behind.

It was all recorded on the dash camera of the vehicle that was following the van.

The two-year-old boy crawled to the back of the van then fell out of the back lift gate. The lift gate opened as the boy’s grandfather pulled away at a green light.

The toddler then gets up and starts running after the van.

The driver of the other car pulled over and picked up the boy before going after the grandfather. When they caught up, the grandfather told them the lift gate was damaged in a prior crash and had a tendency to come open.
