Suspect blames burglaries on sleepwalking

CHANDLER, AZ (WCMH)– After being arrested for two burglaries, the suspect told police he had a habit of sleepwalking.

According to KNXV, Thomas Doran told police he didn’t remember burglarizing two homes in Arizona after he was arrested.

A victim told police that Doran had originally asked her for a ride, and as she was leaving to run errands, she found Doran going through her stuff.

Police told KNXV that a second neighbor later called police to report a burglary at their home as well.

Doran told police he had been drinking and taking prescription medicine the night before.
