COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A woman has died from injuries suffered in a crash with a box truck on I-270 on Wednesday.
According to Columbus police, Ember M. Meadows of Grove City was the driver of a blue Chevrolet Aveo that was hit by the truck.
She died from her injuries on Thursday.
Police said Brian A. Shook, 37, of Akron, was driving a box truck when he drifted off the road and hit a guardrail. The rear of the truck then rotated back into traffic and crashed into Meadows’ blue Chevrolet.

According to the police report, Meadows was trapped inside the car with “incapacitating injuries.” She was taken to Mount Carmel West.
The driver of the truck was not hurt.
I-270 was closed for several hours.
