COLUMBUS (WCMH)– The Police-Involved Death review board concluded that Officer Matthew Carrol acted within his rights to shoot and kill a man who allegedly assaulted him.

According to Columbus Police, at about 5:58pm Carroll was dispatched to a home in the 4000 block of Summit Street to take a report on threats made against a family member at the residence.
