Corona recalling bottles of beer because of possible glass contamination

CHICAGO, IL (WCMH)– Constellation brand beers said select bottles of Corona beer sold nationwide may contain small particles of glass.

The recall is for Corona Extra 12-packs and 18-packs sold nationwide.

The company says it is a small amount of bottles affected, about one in every 5,000 bottles.

According to Constellation brand, if a person is injured drinking the beer, they should call a physician immediately and afterwards call their consumer call center at 866) 204-9407 for more information and a refund.
