Pickup truck hits another car, crashes into gas station just south of Columbus

FRANKLIN CO., Ohio (WCMH)–Power is out for some residents south of Scioto Downs after a pickup truck hit the Marathon gas station at the corner of S.R. 665 and U.S. 23.

The left turn lanes of U.S. 23 in both directions are closed at S.R. 665 and S.R. 317. They will remains closed throughout the morning commute.

The Hamilton Township fire chief told NBC4 that the driver of a car turned in front of the pickup and was hit. The driver of the car was taken to a hospital.

Power is out at the signal and in the area.

The Ohio Department of Transportation said the duration of the road closures is unknown, and offered the following detours:

Detour for 665 west is US 23 north (High St.) to Rt. 104 west.

Detour for 665 east is Rt. 104 north to US 23.

Detour for SR 317 east is I-270 east to Alum Creek Dr. south.

Detour for SR 317 west is Parsons Ave. north to Williams Rd. west.
