PHOTOS: Tornado spotted in the Miami Valley

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A tornado warning is issued for Montgomery, Darke and Preble Counties.

Montgomery County dispatch reports that a possible tornado has touched down in the area of Sweet Potato Ridge and Arlington Road in Brookville.

Radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado located over Arcanum moving north at about 30 miles per hour. There are no reports of damage in Miami County.

The warning is effective until 2:15 p.m. Monday. The locations impacted include Trotwood, Englewood, Eaton, West Milton, Arcanum, Lewisburg, West Alexandria, Gratis, Clayton, Union and others.Audrey Report it

This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 11 and 26.

The alert was issued at 1:38 p.m. by the National Weather Service. There were no reports of severe damage in Miami, Montgomery or Preble Counties as of 1:50 p.m.
