DUI task force announces Franklin County checkpoint

FRANKLIN COUNTY (WCMH) — A central Ohio task force will hold a sobriety checkpoint Friday evening.

The Franklin County DUI Task Force announced the checkpoint at Alum Creek Drive, south of Williams Road in the village of Obetz, will be stopping vehicles between 8 pm Friday and 2 am Sunday.

The task force, which includes the central Ohio law enforcement agencies, Franklin County agencies and MADD, encourage those who will be consuming alcohol to plan for a designated driver or make other arrangements.
