LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say the man who stole nachos from a Las Vegas Strip convenience store before shooting at employees now faces burglary, assault and weapons charges.
The police report says 24-year-old Anthony Gioiosa was arrested Monday following the 1:30 a.m. cheese snack-related shooting at the AMPM store on the Strip.
When the clerk confronted him again outside, Gioiosa allegedly grabbed a gun and fired a shot at the employees. No one was hurt.
Police say Gioiosa then drove off but was seen later at another AMPM. He was arrested after a short car chase. It’s unclear if he has an attorney.
