Dad dragged by child’s school bus

BOSTON, MA (WCMH)– Boston police are investigating and a bus driver is on administrative leave after a video surfaced showing a man clinging to the bus mirror while the vehicle was driving away.

According to WCVB, the man clinging to the mirror was James Burdett, who said he was upset about changes to the bus stops.

Burdett admitted to standing in front of the bus to make the driver let his child off, but he said as soon as the bus began moving, he had no time get out of the way.

“He pressed on the gas again and hit my leg,” Burdett told WCVB. “Then I grabbed on for dear life and he kept going.”
