Escalator mishap sends hockey fans tumbling

PHILADELPHIA, PA (WCMH) — No one was injured after an escalator sped up after a Philadelphia Flyers game Saturday sending hockey fans tumbling over each other.

The mishap was captured on video by a witness.

The incident happened after the Flyers’ win the Ottawa Senators in Philadelphia.

The escalator was immediately closed and was not in use until after the 76ers’ basketball game later Saturday, according to a company spokesperson.
