NEW JERSEY (WCMH)–Cats in the workplace usually bring smiles, and it was no different for a group of New Jersey State Police on Wednesday.

State Police shared a photo of a kitten photobombing a lineup of its Honor Guard. In the photo, the kitten is lying on its side on the ground, as the Guard members hold rifles and flags in front of it.

“This kitty-splat photobomb can make even our most squared-away, locked-out Honor Guard chuckle. Well played cat,” the police wrote on Facebook. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
