CPD officer uninjured after motorcycle struck along I-70

COLUMBUS (WCMH) —  A Columbus Police Officer’s motorcycle was hit from behind off of Interstate 70, Wednesday.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, at about 1:37pm, an officer was alongside I-70 eastbound near Kelton Avenue for a traffic stop, when his motorcycle was struck by a vehicle.

Police say the officer was able to move out of the way before the crash and was uninjured, but the driver of the other vehicle did sustain injuries. The condition of the driver is not known.
