Chick-Fil-A issues chocolate chunk cookie recall

ATLANTA, GA (WCMH) — Chick-Fil-A is issuing a nationwide recall of its chocolate chunk cookies.

The cookies, supplied by CSM Bakery Solutions, were labeled as peanut-free, but the company says the cookies may have come into contact with peanuts during the baking process. Because they may contain peanut allergens, the cookies are being voluntarily recalled.

Chick-Fil-A says people with peanut allergies could suffer serious reactions if they eat the cookies. You’re advised to throw them out if you have any, or return them to the company for a full refund.

The restaurants will begin to serve cookies again within the next 1-2 weeks.
