DOUGLASVILLE, GA (WCMH) — A photo on social media is going viral for all the right reasons.

The photo shows 22-year-old waiter Alex Ruiz going above and beyond for one of his customers. He’s seen helping feed the man who has no arms.

CNN reports the customer came into the Cinco De Mayo Restaurant in Douglasville, Georgia and asked for help with his meal. Ruiz immediately volunteered.

“I saw a man who needed help,” Ruiz said. “I did what I thought was right.”

Reginald Widener is the man who took the photo. He says he was touched by what he saw and described Ruiz as someone who is always in a positive mood.

“This seriously hit me right in the soul,” Widener’s post on social media said.

Ruiz moved to Georgia from Chicago six months ago. He says he has a son whom he hopes to teach what it means to be “loving.”
