Troopers: Columbus man charged with 11th OVI offense

DELAWARE, OH (WCMH) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol charged a Columbus man with operating a vehicle under the influence for his 11th OVI offense, troopers say.

Robert L. Ellis, of Columbus, has 10 prior convictions for operating a vehicle under the influence according to troopers.

Troopers said Ellis was arrested and charged with his most recent offense after being stopped for a marked lanes violation on Polaris Parkway in Delaware County.

He is scheduled to appear in the Delaware Municipal Court on Monday.  The case is still pending.
