Central Ohio IKEA to break ground later this month

DELAWARE COUNTY, OH (WCMH) —  The groundbreaking for the IKEA store near the Polaris Mall will be taking place May 25.

The ceremony, to be held at the site of the future IKEA, will take place on Orion Place near Gemini Place at 10am.

Columbus Mayor Andrew J. Ginther is expected to be there as well as Delaware County Board of Commissioners President Barb Lewis.

The store is expected to open sometime in 2017.
