ANN ARBOR, MI (WCMH) — A man accused of contaminating food at three Michigan area grocery stores is now in police custody.
The man was identified through several tips after his picture was released over the weekend, according to WDIV.
The FBI says he admitted to spraying a liquid combination of hand sanitizer, water and rat poison on produce and other exposed food at three Ann Arbor area grocery stores.
There have been no reports of illness based on the contamination.
The FBI is working with state and local authorities to determine if there is any threat to the public.
