People burning voter registration cards following Trump GOP victory

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Last night, Donald Trump was declared the presumptive GOP presidential nominee after Ted Cruz announced he was suspending his campaign.

Apparently, that upset many Republicans.

Those voters turned to social media to literally burn their ties to the GOP. They vowed not to vote this November and then burned their voter registration cards to make sure they keep that promise.

Several of the tweets and messages were ironically sent directly to Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus after he called for the party to unite under Trump’s campaign.

After Cruz announced he was stepping down, Trump called him “one smart guy” and said the decision was “a very brave thing to do.”
