Two injured in north Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS (WCMH) – Two people were shot early Wednesday morning on the city’s north side.

The shootings happened shortly before 1am on Whipporwill Court, near the intersection of Red Robin Road and Karl Road.

A victim from Whipporwill Court was taken to Grant Medical Center in stable condition.

A second victim was found nearby on Thurrell Road. He was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital in critical condition.

Police are now investigating what led up to the shootings.
