One dead, four others injured in crash on North Cassady

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — One person is dead after a crash near Port Columbus International Airport.

The crash happened on North Cassady Avenue at Airport Drive at approximately 12:12am.

Aaron Workman, 32, was driving northbound in a 2010 Chevy Impala on Cassady Avenue and Airport Drive.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 2000 Toyota Camry, was 25-year-old Deja Scott. Police say Scott was headed southbound on Cassady, turning left onto Airport Dr when the two vehicles crashed in the intersection.

A passenger in Workman’s vehicle, Vincent Strickland, 32, was transported to Grant Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Workman, as well as 24-year-old Deja Torrence, and 24-year-old Jewel Mundoe were transported to area hospitals for treatment of minor injuries.

Police continue to investigate the crash.
