LOS ANGELES (WCMH)–Oh my god, Becky.

Actress and model Blake Lively created a firestorm on social media by quoting Sir Mix-a-Lot’s ubiquitous 1992 tune “Baby Got Back” on her Instagram page.

Clearly attempting to prove that she’s “got buns, hon,” the 28-year-old put a photo of herself on Instagram with the caption “L.A. face with an Oakland booty,” a phrase that is uttered several times in Mix-a-Lot’s iconic ode to derriere.

Lively, who does hail from L.A., is pregnant with her second child with husband Ryan Reynolds. She was posing at the Cannes Film Festival.

Some people on social media called her racist for quoting the song, while others contended that the Internet has bigger fish to fry.

“Red beans and rice” may have not missed her…but did political correctness?
