DELAWARE, OH (WCMH)–Semi trucks are now prohibited from turning right from U.S. 23 onto S.R. 315 in Delaware County, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced Wednesday.

Due to new construction, the turning radius at this intersection is too small for big rigs, ODOT said.

ODOT started a $2 million project earlier this year that will add turn lines and re-align U.S. 23, S.R. 315 and Stratford Road. The project is expected to be complete late this fall.

The detour for trucks will be U.S. 23 south to S.R. 750 west to S.R. 315, ODOT said. The detour will be in place through September.
