Drive-thru dog racks up on ribs

EMORY, TX (KETK) We don’t always have time to cook a meal, so every now and then, going through a drive-thru is an easy option. In Emory, Texas an 11-year-old dog named Jake has made it part of his daily routine.

Anytime Circle H Bar-B-Q & Grill is open, Jake waits at the drive-thru window.

“Because he loves barbecue. Everybody else does too, he just gets his for free,” says Tyson Thompson, a waiter at Circle H.

“Everybody knows Jake,” adds Josh Hines, the man who provides Jake with all his favorite food at the drive-thru. “He’s definitely the town mascot.”

He’s unaware of his fame because he has one thing on his mind.

“Rib bones. He loves the rib bones,” laughs Hines.
