Police say woman sexually assaulted, stabbed on west side of Columbus by three men

COLUMBUS (WCMH)–The Columbus Division of Police say a woman was sexually assaulted on the west side of Columbus early Thursday morning.

The Sexual Assault Unit is investigating the violent, assault which occurred in the area of Sullivant Avenue and South Burgess Avenue.

The female victim was transported to the Mount Carmel West Medical Center in critical condition due to a stab wound resulting from the violent nature of the assault.

The victim described her assailants as three young white males ranging in age from late teens to early 20s.
