Voice 4 Columbus Final Four

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — For the past month, the Harmony Project has been searching for the Voice 4 Columbus. Now the we’re down to the final four.

Alexis Young

At 17 years old, Alexis Young is the youngest contestant remaining. When asked about why she should be the Voice 4 Columbus, Alexis had this to say:

I feel I should be the Voice 4 Columbus because I feel that I have a gift that God wants me to share and to bless people’s lives with. And Voice 4 Columbus give me that opportunity.

The Junior from Gahanna Lincoln High School also thanks her friends, family and community for helping her achieve the most “likes” on Youtube, ensuring her spot in the Final Four.

Tylon Fuller

Tylon Fuller as the second contestant moving on to the final round. Tylon is a 25-year-old singer who not only has a phenomenal voice but is also an incredible dancer. In fact, Tylon was on his way to dance class when he was encouraged to audition for the contest.

Through Voice 4 Columbus, Tylon is hoping to inspire and change lives.

Jesse Powers

Jesse is originally from Sumter, South Carolina, but she now permanently calls Columbus home. For Jesse, the appeal of Voice 4 Columbus was that it is more than a singing competition.

“I’m always looking to extend my reach especially because my music is a lot about consciousness, just kind of spreading the word about loving yourself and loving one another. Any chance to be able to spread my message and be able to participate in a community that way is really attracted to me,” Powers said.

DeMeeshia Marshall

DeMeeshia has been singing since she was a child–in fact, she was 5 years old when she performed her first solo. The now 23-year-old start was in gospel, but DeMeeshia sings everything from pop to opera.

“I’m not restricted to one,” she said. “There are so many sounds so many things you can do. Even if it’s country, I’ve sung country stuff. Of course, I’m not a country singer but I like the music too. So, I just sing it the way I know how.”

Who do you think will be the Voice 4 Columbus?
